2023 Honda Civic Options

For 2023, there is a Honda Civic for virtually any driver. The standard Civic Sedan was recently updated with more mature styling and a collection of available high-tech features, including a nine-inch infotainment display and a 12-speaker Bose Premium sound system. However, it remains affordable at heart, with the base LX trim starting at just $23,750.^[a] Two engine options are available, with the optional 1.5L turbocharged Earth Dreams motor offering an EPA-estimated fuel economy of up to 36 MPG combined.^[b]

If a standard sedan doesn’t provide enough cargo space for your needs, the 2023 Civic Hatch is the answer. This roomy model boasts a sleek, fastback design that provides 24.5 cu.ft. of cargo space behind the rear seats. When you need to fit larger items, simply fold down the rear seats to enjoy nearly as much room as you will find in a small SUV. Like the Civic Sedan, the Civic Hatch is offered with a standard 2.0L engine or an available 1.5L turbocharged engine. However, the Civic Hatch also provides the option for a six-speed manual transmission in its Sport and Sport Touring trims.

Finally, there are the two high-performance versions of the 2023 Civic: the Civic Si and the Civic Type R. The Civic Si is based on the Civic Sedan, but uses a more powerful version of the 1.5L engine that produces 200 hp. It also comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, limited-slip differential, and other performance upgrades. The Type R is the ultimate Civic, powered by a unique 2.0L turbocharged VTEC engine generating 315 hp. With a wider stance, aggressive rear wing, special dual-axis front suspension, and more, this model is designed to go straight from the dealership to the track.
