Is it time for the 2023 releases already? If you were thrilled with what 2022 saw, then you’re about to be thrilled for our 2023 Honda lineup! We here at Ryan Honda of Minot, your premier Honda dealer in Minot, ND, have got you covered when it comes to the 2023 models we are anxiously looking forward to seeing. We are excited to be your Honda dealer for these new releases and can’t wait to get these 2023 models on the lot in the upcoming fall season. There’s a lot to be excited about, so let’s get rollin’ on what you can expect to see from us in the near future!

The 2023 Honda CR-V

We’ve recently released little sneak peeks into the Honda CR-V, and there is much to look at. And you’ll be thrilled to see it because its updated exterior is gorgeous. The headlights and taillights are going to be upgraded, and if you’ve seen the teaser pictures, you’ll notice the grille gets a bit of a redesign as well. Based on the specifications that have been released, the exterior changes to the CR-V are more than just cosmetic. The vehicle is being produced slightly larger than the previous years, which means more room for everyone and better cargo capacity. We are also expecting there to be some changes when it comes to trims. The CR-V is in need of a trim that makes it a mountain climber, and it would be great to see Honda equip some of the new releases with their off-road selection of features. We expect that trim to be coming as they’ve designed the 2023 models with a slightly larger wheelbase which would be perfect for accommodating off-road tires.

We are also fully expecting to get more CR-V Hybrid models made available with the 2023 release and are excited about what this means for fuel economy. Honda has been moving towards simplifying the interiors of many of their models, so hopefully, we see that with the 2023 CR-Vs, as well. A more straightforward console and climate control setup would be a great change for the CR-Vs, and we are hoping that they’ll apply the more simple setup by using the infotainment screen more exclusively than in prior models. The Honda CR-V has always been a very popular model for Honda, so we know they’ve made it their baby and are only doing things to increase its use and functionality across the board.

The 2023 Honda Pilot

It seems like Honda wants to update all their SUVs for the 2023 releases, and the Pilot has not been left out. Since Honda has been emphasizing their Hybrids by adding that feature to many of the 2023 releases, we may see the Pilot get a Hybrid powertrain, too. Like the CR-V, we expect the Honda Pilot to get a bit of an exterior make-over to create a consistent brand look. It will likely get upgraded headlights, taillights, and grille. We are also expecting that it will get an improved and more simplified interior setup. The only thing we know for sure is that the Pilots are expected to release later in 2022 than most of the other models. It’s a bigger SUV, and it makes sense that it would take longer to manufacture the necessary changes.

The 2023 Honda Accord

Like the majority of the Honda 2023 releases, the Accord will get an all-new exterior look and simplified interior. It doesn’t sound like Honda wants to make many huge changes to their Accord because if it’s not broken, don’t fix it! The Accord is one of the most popular midsize sedans, and it would make sense for Honda to keep the powertrain and other features as similar as possible. This lack of change could also be because the Honda Accord currently has a couple of different engine options already, and there’s not much room for improvement. Like its predecessor, the Accord will also have the Hybrid option available, and like other 2023 releases, we do expect that the Accord Hybrids will be emphasized to make up a larger portion of the 2023 releases.

The 2023 Honda Civic

Civics are also jumping on the Hybrid train this year, and we will see a Hybrid Civic release with the 2023 lineup. The 2023 Civics will likely receive some minor exterior and interior updates to keep it on par with the rest of the 2023 releases. It looks like it’s keeping its standard engines and powertrains, continuing to give drivers a couple of different options. The Honda Civic will also continue to be available as the Si, which makes all of us here very happy to see. It looks like Honda will be sticking with tried and true when it comes to their Civic sedan for 2023.

The 2023 Honda Civic Type R

The 2023 Honda Civic Type Rs are slated to be packed with more power, a more discreet exterior, and potential options for those who never learned how to drive a manual without destroying a few clutches. We know it’s keeping its original 2.4-liter turbo, but it sounds like Honda is going to push as much power out of that as they possibly can. While they are turning up the power, Honda is turning down the exterior look to not make it appear as though it belongs on the NASCAR track, and we think this is a great call as the new, toned-down look should appeal to more drivers. There also may or may not be an option for an automatic dual-clutch version of the Type R, which will again, only add to the roster of people who both want to and can drive the Type R. We can’t wait to see these racing off the lot in the upcoming fall.

The 2023 Honda Odyssey

Our 2023 release of the Odyssey will see the addition of a sport trim! The sport trim for the Honda Odyssey will give it the red accents and upgraded wheels like it does for other models with this trim option. Other than that additional trim, it looks like the Odyssey will be primarily untouched. Honda is keeping the changeable passenger seat area that makes adjusting the Odyssey to fit your family and needs an option. Unlike other models, it appears that the Honda Odyssey is keeping its signature exterior and interior looks, which works because it was recently updated.
