First Responders & Friends Day
May 18, 2024
There are heroes who walk amongst us every day, right here in Minot. They don’t don capes, but they’re always there to save the day. They are our firefighters, police officers and emergency medical personnel – our First Responders.
All are welcome at Ryan Honda of Minot as we celebrate and learn from these brave men and women!
Join us for races to put on firefighter gear, live K9 demonstrations, displays and free breakfast. Fire Drill Gear Races will happen at 9:30 and 10:30 AM with K9 demonstrations at 10:00 AM.
With your free will donation, please enjoy a donut served by the Ryan Honda of Minot team along with coffee from Central Brew. Donations will help support the purchase of new structure gear and air bottles for the Minot Rural Fire Department.
Operation Mugs & Hugs will also happen over the duration of the event. With the goal of keeping the community’s children safe, the Minot Police Department and First District Health will be taking height and weight measurements, fingerprints, an updated photo, and more for parents to have on-hand in case their child goes missing.
Enjoy your Saturday morning with us and a few local heroes from the Minot Rural Fire Department, Minot Police Department, Trinity Health First Response Ground & Air Ambulance, and the Minot Area Bomb Squad. We’re swapping out our inventory with first response vehicles so you can see first-hand what these heroes use to save the day. And of course, there will be prizes for our first responders and their supporters.
